Olde Town Nipomo Family Christmas 2020 Celebrates its Fourth Year!

Nipomo –   To keep everyone safe this year Olde Towne Nipomo Family Christmas has been modified to respect COVID regulations and safe distancing.  This year the celebration focuses on the Christmas Marketplace Plaza where the towering 24 foot Christmas tree with 14,000 lights  will be lit in a special Tree Lighting Ceremony .  This year it is our pleasure to honor our local heroes  which includes families, teachers and students along with our first responders.   The specially lighted Brackett Heritage Foundation Christmas Tree will shine as a beacon of hope throughout the Christmas season.    This LIVE STREAM ONLY EVENT takes place on  Sunday December 6  starting at 5:00 p.m.       The Reyes Family of Full Gospel Tabernacle Church  along with several other musical groups will provide live music from 5:00 to 5:30 from the Christmas Marketplace stage .     The Tree Lighting ceremony will start promptly at 5:30 p.m. followed by a big screen sing-a-long with local talented musician Kevin Colton.    Santa will also make an appearance , followed by snowfall into the Christmas Marketplace area.      All of the performance can be watched safely from the comfort of your home by following us on Facebook @ BStronglifeCommunity.   You can also park in the area to see and hear the performance from the comfort of your vehicle by tuning in to 88.7 FM on your radio dial.  A list of special guests will do the honors of lighting the tree.   Due to COVID restrictions there will be no parade, no marketplace vendors or Santa’s Village activities.   COVID safety rules will be enforced.
